We currently offer the following ChartLists that are available to all of our members for download in either StockCharts (for Extra level members or higher) or Microsoft Excel:

  • Strong Earnings ChartList (SECL) includes hundreds of companies that beat revenue and EPS estimates, and appear technically sound (in our opinion). This list is updated throughout the year to present YOU with potentially high reward-to-risk trading candidates.
  • Strong Accumulation/Distribution ChartList (SADCL) contains stocks with a StockCharts Technical Rank (SCTR) score > 80 at the time of selection and that have strong accumulation/distribution lines (in our opinion). Like every indicator, the AD line has its limitations and certainly provides no guarantees, but strength in this indicator combined with relative strength vs. peers and the benchmark S&P 500 can provide us significant clues. Our Strong AD ChartList should provide our members with confidence, knowing that they are long companies that are showing signs of potential institutional accumulation.
  • Weak Accumulation/Distribution ChartList (WADCL) contains stocks that have a SCTR score < 20 at the time of selection and have weak accumulation/distribution lines (in our opinion).
  • Short Squeeze ChartList (SSCL) contains companies that currently have a short percentage of float above 20%. This means that many traders are betting against the company, some for very good reason. We shouldn't view this as a bullish list, quite the contrary. However, when companies on this list break out of key resistance levels, a short squeeze can ensue triggering a fast rise on unusually heavy volume. That's the purpose of this list - to attempt to catch short squeezes.
  • Strong Future Earnings ChartList (SFECL) contains companies that belong to strong industry groups, have SCTR scores > 80, and are not already on the Strong Earnings ChartList (SECL). In a sense, these are companies currently favored by Wall Street, suggesting that perhaps we'll see better-than-expected quarterly revenues and earnings as we approach their respective earnings dates.
  • Raised Guidance ChartList (RGCL) contains companies that have raised either revenue or earnings guidance, or both, meet our liquidity requirements, and show bullish technical tendencies as well. It is updated periodically (every couple weeks) and is annotated to show the timing of such raised guidance. Key price support levels post-guidance are provided. Earnings and Fed policy typically drive U.S. stocks, so the RGCL provides our members with one additional research tool when trying to uncover trading opportunities.
  • Seasonality ChartList (SEASCL) is published every month and contains the companies that are among the best performing stocks during the month historically. We consider all stocks on the S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 (but do not consider technical outlook or recent earnings results). All of the stocks are annotated with key short-term price support. This list also includes the percentage of time that each stock gains ground for the entire specified month, as well as the stock's average gain during the specified month.
